Waiting: True Confessions Of A Waitress A delightful light read, whether you ever waited on tables in the past or not. Debra Ginsberg shares an interesting memoir. However, some people may not want to dine out for a few days after reading this book. Can you relate? 298 pages.
Carol figured the move back to her hometown area then a move to a house located in a neighboring town 5 miles east of her hometown would be the living up to the prediction. Two weeks after moving in, the older well gave up the ghost and a new one needed to be drilled. She deemed the psychic reader to have been accurate on the direction and about water somehow being involved. The car also had promptly broken down upon three occassions, thus another feather in the reader's cap. Then in 1996 Carol Wells found herself moving to the western Pennsylvania area. Pittsburgh if wishing to be precise about location. "This is all right," she said to her new mate while they admired the Allegheny River one evening. "After all, some psychic said I would move easterly and that move somehow related to water - and a river is water. A few years later than I expected, but I suppose it took a bit of time for us to meet." Now she sits in a residence in an area nicknamed the Delaware River Valley. You have to admit that sounds classier than saying "I live in New Jersey". Water? Well, Carol lived 2 blocks from Cooper River and about 5 miles from the Delaware River. Not being totally adverse to moving but concern started to develop as Carol calculated only slightly over 100 miles of land remained before the ocean presented a slight problem in the eastward trek thoughts. She considered locating the psychic reader to inquire once the easterly move began - when would it end! However, apparently the eastward trek halted, and threw itself into reverse, as in 2006 as Carol and her family returned to western Pennsylvania. For those curious if water is somehow still involved, she lives is 2 and a half miles from the Allegheny River and in 2007 there was a water line break at the corner of her street. Further trivia about Carol is that she was a "late in life" child who later had five children; four from her first marriage. She also does web design for small businesses or non-profit organizations in her free time. Carol once maintained a site about Old Wives' Tales and continues to maintain and create contents for Web Site Primer; formerly with the WebSeeb Publishing Network then Content! Content! Network before just winging it on her own without being part of a content network. In 2004 she became a member of the NetWits. Carol Wells has also shared stories and articles with Taking Back, Quick Decor, Teen Seen It All, and in some anthology-collaboration Guidepost Books. Humor Is Relative's Top 12 Popular Stories:
